About Us
We are a non-denominational family church established in February 1989 in the South of Johannesburg by founders Drs Joseph and Pat Sumadraji. Whilst Dr Joseph passed on in 2015, Dr Pat has remained as the current Senior Pastor who is actively involved in the Ministry. Through God’s Mercy & Grace, we have now established a branch in Randburg since 2021 at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate which caters for those living in this area. God’s Favour has been upon this branch since its inception and it is growing steadily. God has already done so many wonderful things in this new place and many people have been experiencing His Glory, Power and Majesty in their lives.

To raise a people of integrity, purpose, excellence and power, with passion for Jesus Christ and addiction to God’s Kingdom. Our mission is to establish a new community of believers that will carry forward the purpose of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Matt 10 “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”
We believe in the Holy Trinity of God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit so therefore in all this, God must be Glorified in the Highest. Living Word Ministries remains a church that is built upon the Revelation of The Solid Rock of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and we will proclaim His Name always – Matt 16:18 “And upon this Rock I will build My Church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it”.
All are welcome to join us every Sunday, The Sabbath Day, where we praise Him with all that we have, with no judgement to anyone but rather an extension of Godly love for all. It doesn’t matter how you began, it’s how you respond to God NOW that will determine how you finish…God has a plan and a purpose for each and every one of us.
